TRAINING TOWARDS CAPACITY BUILDING FOR NLDC

The training towards capacity building for the National Load Dispatch Center (NLDC) project is scheduled in the month of January 2012. This training would cover the basics to configuration of Remote Terminal Units (RTU), Application software and system Operator. Details of the Trainings are give below:

INAUGURATION OF THE NATIONAL LOAD DISPATCH CENTER

The Bhutan Power Corporation Limited commissioned the National Load Dispatch Center (NLDC) on the 17th of December 2011 at 15:00 Hours coinciding with the National Day.

NLDC Thimphu

The Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPCL) commissioned the video projection system (VPS) on 14th October, 2011  as part of the project to establish the national load dispatch centre (NLDC) at its headquarters at Thimphu.

A communication link with all major substations of  BPC having been established, the entire power system operations, such as status of the various breakers, the quantum of power flows in various transmission lines, including the import/export, can be viewed on the VPS at this main control centre.
